A three week first aid and survival classes for children aged 6 to 15 years of age is being organized by the Fire Department of Puerto Vallarta. The workshop will be conducted free of cost. Interested parents are requested to get their children registered at the earliest because there will be limited intake.

The young citizens will be taught important skills like first aid, water rescue, fire fighting, search and rescue and more. The summer courses will be held from July 9 to 27, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Qualified personnel of the Fire Department will impart the training and the children will be divided into groups according to their age.

Children often indulge themselves unknowingly in hazardous situations. Such workshops make them aware and alert as how to behave during a crisis situation. They make them prepared for a better tomorrow. Learning safety habits not only benefits the child alone but also people around them.

The children will be trained mostly at the fire station. For outside training, they will be taken to the beach, the zoo, the naval base and the Salado estuary. For enrollment, the parents have to contact the fire station located Av of the Americas # 565 in Colonia 5 de  Deciembre, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. They can call 322 223 9476 for more details.

The community feel in Puerto Vallarta is quite strong and many expats communities are also active here. This makes Puerto Vallarta real estate the #1 choice for American, European and Canadian expats who are attracted by the support system available to them in Vallarta.
