Puerto Vallarta Floods Phoenix
Mexico Tourism Board and U.S. Airways have made an investment of $160,280 USD to promote
Puerto Vallarta in Phoenix. The idea is to make the
Puerto Vallarta destination popular among the residents of Phoenix by putting up images of Puerto Vallarta on the Phoenix's light rail system (known as Valley Metro) and 88 digital screens throughout the city.
A fresh image inviting visitors to holiday in the destination has been put in the Sky Harbor Phoenix International Airport. It is the most important intercontinental airport in Arizona and one of the largest and most active in the southwestern United States serving domestic and international flights. The airport is the 12th busiest airports in the world, seeing over 40.6 million passengers a year. It is located about 5 km west of the Central Business District of Phoenix, Mari Copa County, Arizona and was opened in 1936.
Phoenix is the capital, and largest city, of the U.S. state of Arizona. It is the sixth most populous city in the United States of America and also the most populous state capital in the United States. Promoting Puerto Vallarta in such a location definitely has its own perks. The number of tourist visiting this magical destination has been on the rise and with such positive steps, it is sure to break all records.
