Puerto Vallarta to get improved Flamingos golf course

Riviera Nayarit’s perfect natural landscape has made it a paradise for golfers. The destination boosts of seven golf courses endorsed by the Mexican Golf Federation. Flamingos built in 1970 was the first golf course in the Vallarta area. Endorsed by the Mexican Golf Federation, Flamingos has been instrumental Riviera Nayarit's touristic development.

Riviera Nayarit's Iconic Flamingos Golf Course to be Upgraded

The golf course is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and palm trees. The 6,853 yard-long, par 72 championship course combines gently sloping fairways with natural lagoons, marshes and estuaries. The course is also home to over 100 bird species, crocodiles, turtles, hares, raccoons, and deer.

The course is now being upgraded and it has been informed by course manager Claudi Staines that all par 3 tee boxes are being extended and the course's 2nd hole is being completely improved.
 
Staines also announced that Mexican players can enjoy special rates by showing membership credentials from other golf clubs in Mexico, which means they can enjoy morning rounds for $850 pesos and twilight rounds (after 3:30 pm) for $40 USD, through October 31.
