The Vallarta Wine Fest Jalisco & Nayarit is getting better with every edition. This year the fest will bring its 7th edition with even more exotic dishes and wine to satiate your gastronomical craving.  Serving up the platter will be some the best dishes ever created and it is for sure that the glasses won’t remain empty even for a second. A number of hotels and restaurants have geared up to showcase their offerings from March 18th to 24th, 2013. The event aims to raise the awareness about the ecology of the region. It will focus on the great diversity of grape varietals of the region and why they are such celebrated affair. Spotlight will be on some of the most recognized wine grapes in the world such as Merlot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. The event is not just any other food and drink event but event with a purpose. It is a chance for the attendees to know what goes behind the gorgeous glass of wine in their hand. Visitors will be offered lectures on wine and its culture, tastings, and wine-pairing.

Apart from eating and drinking, attendees can also soak into art and culture. There will be poetry readings, dance shows and live music. Unlike last year there won’t be the participation of a guest country but that doesn’t mean fun will be any less. This event testifies that fact that Puerto Vallarta is one of the best gastronomic destinations in Mexico.
